Heart Breaker Novels Reopening

Hey everyone it's been a while since I've posted, yet again. I have some news regarding my writing blog which has been under wraps until now. I now have a writing blog that I will be updating as frequently as I can, which I hope to get make into a web comic someday if I can get experienced enough. Anyway this is a notice that I will be working on a story now and there will be an added link to my writing blog where you can read my story I've been working on so far. I'm so glad I finally got it to a state that I believe I like so it'll actually continue on rather than be restarted over again.

New Machines and New Ideas

Well it's definitely been a while since I updated this. Time to update it wht some new and better things, particularly news.

First thing's first, I have upgraded my scanner to an all in one printer. That's right, I now own a four function printer. I'm happy about it too, the machine was $250 normal retail and I ended up getting it slightly more than half the price around $137 or so. It's amazing for a few reasons. One is it's design: it's a printer and it's only 4" in maximum height. Extremely compact. Like I mentioned earlier it's a 4 in one (five if you count e-printing) so I can print from literally anywhere as long as a web connection is present. I can be on vacation and print what I need to, hahaaa. It's stylish in appearance, I feel like a pro when I use it. Sophisticated due to it's sharp design but at the same time, inexpensive (ie: not giving up my arm for ink). I also feel special now that I'm the only person in the house with a working fax, dad will crap bricks.

Only downfall about it is it weighs approximately 15-20 pounds if I had to guess. A dense printer you could say. I love it though, it's what I'm going to be using in place of my espon flat bed which I might sell locally.

On another note, in relation to reference requesting. I might try to work on a 8 x 11 sheet of stock paper to see what I can try and work, I will say that due to being so much smaller some quality will obviously be lost but just to test it out I'm willing to give it a shot, otherwise I am still open for donations and commissions to raise money for my goal of $250 - $300 for this printer.

It's as big as it seems, believe me. Ledger printers aren't a common thing at all. This being said, I 'will' start working ont he reference requests I have on queue to see what I can work out, but otherwise I will not be taking in many after what I have already in.

Back In The Game

I know it hasn't been long since my last post but I've found time to start working on art again, although this time will be at the notice that I may be closing requests for a bit. I want to work a bit on some personal art, whether it be of my own or someone else's character.

Important regarding art

Evening everyone. I'm posting in behalf of my art right now which is having some real trouble being made so I'm going on a leave as far as posting is concerned. I do not know how long this will last but I will say that I will work whenever I feel in a good enough mood to work on them. I have a sense as to why it's so hard to do this but I'm not sure, that and I'm sure half of you who read this may or may not care one way or the other.

To the people I owe a request still: I have yours still on queue, I've tried several times to work on them and cannot manage to continue work on one pic. So I know you've been waiting and apologize that it's taking so long to make them. Do know that you are still going to have  your pics done in the order they were received to me. Just....look forward to a post dump over on the C-blog.

Blogger updates

I'm currently at work, but I wanted to inform everyone that I will be making a few changes to the main blogger here, later today.

Hair cut

Man, I didn't think something so simple could turn into something so complicated. The usual spot where I get my cuts done relocated, and I didn't find out until I actually got there. Inconvenient eh? Anyway, my mom, my sister and my aunt all debated new locations since I really needed a cut (after having a sponge on my head for the last week and a half, I couldn't complain). So I'm at the barber now as I post this. See ya soon, after my cut!

Basic Digital Commissions

Well I've been screwin around on SAI for a couple days and I think I may have set up just the solution for commissioners who desire things digital over traditional!

Nothing too complicated honestly but it will work I believe, and further details about them will be listed of course within the commissioning information sheet provided on the left of my blog.

For right now I just kinda have prices set up as follows:

Basic Digital: $3

Moderate Quality: $5

High Quality: $10

Now what you see here is not set in stone and of course I will take into account content levels and such so don't think you can get an adult level pic for $3. Ain't gonna happen.

Big Dilemma, Need Help

It seems I've run into a bit of a problem. This will apply to anyone who wants a Reference Request or Commission from me.

In all the commotion making the information, prices, how they work, so on and so forth, I forgot the most crucial step of this process, getting it on the computer. While I am in possession of a scanner, the paper I use for References is 11" x 14" which is far to large for the scanner I already have to be effective. Which means I have no way of actually providing work to people who ask for this particular service.

My technological background tells me that finding a machine that will satisfy this requirement is next to impossible as one can't find even a legal size scanner for under $500 which there is no way I'm going to save up enough for that, quickly anyway. As it would appear Brother is the only brand name to have come out with a printer that can successfully print and even copy or scan a ledger sized piece of paper (11" x 17") but even a machine such as this is over $200. It would appear that this is my only option (my only affordable option anyway) that won't decrease quality of a picture or increase hassles for the process of a picture. So as an effort to help myself...Commissions, commissions, commissions, I need them. Currently the only real special I'm running is my Magical Girl which is $3. I see I will have to step up the game a bit...

All I have to say is be on the look out for great deals down the road...I'm willing to do what it takes to get this over and done with.

If you have any other words of advice they would be greatly appreciated as well. Please, I really need help with this, internet-goers.

Request and Commission V2 Launch Today

Hey everyone it's a bit of a late night and no one's awake so I don't expect much activity but big news from me tonight, that will be spread throughout the sites. Tonight is the launching of my new requesting and commissioning forms. Where now you won't be redirected to a list of information you simply jot down what you want and hit submit! Nothing can go wrong (I've tried to make sure of that)! In addition to the new launch of these forms there is updated information as well. Shorter and more to the point, as well as the first release of the newly designed Art Package system where you can get up to five commissions at one time and save money by getting up to half off the normal value of a commission!

You guys spoke and I listened and hopefully I found a way that pleases us both. Happy submitting!

Updates and Other Art Opportunities

So the main point behind my last post was to get some ideas about how to really sell myself as a commissioning artist, and thus needed some feedback from the general public. With what I got I believe I will be able to compile something that will be a bit more simple to go by. In accordance with updated information sheets, I will also be doing some things that I've seen that have been becoming steadily more and more popular, like art auctions, where you can bid to have you pic at a specialized picture; raffles, where you can win yourself a pic, free of charge, and probably more!

Anyway, not much to update tonight for now.

I've been thinking

Those that decide to read this, first I thank you because this is critical to my expansion as an artist.


I've been looking around on the various sites that I've joined over the years. DeviantART, FurAffinity, InkBunny, SoFurry and Furocity and I've notice a few things with the artists I watch (specifically those who do commissions).

Those artists who do commissions typically have a straight to the point pricing sheet or guide, I'm wondering if there's maybe something more that I can do to make myself stand out while I honestly believe i have one of the most complex yet easy to understand pricing guides, in my own opinion. I didn't do the most important thing though...Have peers evaluate it...

This critical test piece is the one part that I overlooked in my three months working diligently on the forms that I've composed, as well as the ones that were created and the revisions I made back in March.

I come here tonight asking one simple thing of you with the attention span that read through all of this. Take a couple minutes as an appreciated follower and look through my intake forms. I want my followers to tell me what they think I need to change. Opinions, recommendations, strategies, etc. I'll take any response I can get. All the links for what I do are found to the left side of the page.

Any feedback I can get would be appreciated...I'm not asking for you to ask for art from me (unless you want it of course). As a salesman, the best way to improve sales is to figure out what the public desires, am I right? Anyone who's worked retail (and likes it, kinda like myself) will know that helping someone find something they need is like the best thing in the world. Anybody whose had to go to get something from a retail store knows they feel appreciated for being helped as much as they can be without it being overkill.

I'm betting it's the same way with art..or at least I'm hoping.

Commissions and $3 MG Special

Hey everyone, me again here with some news on my commissions opening back up again! Yay. Of course you know how to submit a commission but right now I'm having a special for all those who have lady OCs and wish to show off some cute style for them by having them featured in my Magical Girl concept outfit (Link for more details on what it is). What was normally a $5 priced commission will be on special for $3 for a long while for I have some bills that are piling up and I'm hoping that getting a lot of these will help my predicament. So let your friends know, tell your friends to let their friends know, tweet it, tumblr it, facebook it, etc. Get the word out! Now because I haven't exactly come up with a concept costume for males yet I will still extending this to the guys as well, just remember when putting in a commission to mark the following: Tame, Pose, Flat Color, No Background or for people who forget, just post in the description that you want the $3 price and I'll edit the rest.

Aside from that I want to announce my artistic return to the internet and look forward to dealing forward more of the good stuff that I do

Hungry...at work....no money...staaaaarviiiing!

Full Traditional Pictures; Free

Alright guys, girls and everyone in between. I'm offering up two free full color pictures to anyone who can help me get my muse back. As of January I've been completely unable to fully get anything down on paper completely (I can't get more than half a sketch done anymore if even the skeletal area i draw). I'm going to hold something similar to an auction for anyone and everyone to enter. I will hold one for the female clientele and the male clientele. There are restrictions of course so do't get so riled up before I have a chance to type anything.

Starting off, the limitations for the female of course because I enjoy drawing them the most:

Ages: old enough, I prefer the younger crowd (late teens to older thirties) if you have a loli I will not consider it because I don't do underage, meaning this will be of mature/mild adult nature

Heights: I love a short gal shorties are cute and depending on certain traits, sexy. that and I usually have a tough time drawing taller gals.

Size: I usually 'autocorrect' to a size that ends up having a slim torso and thick hips so size doesn't matter too much, I would prefer slimmer characters but I don't mind trying my own with some thicker gals.

Bust: You know it was coming....bust size can vary as widely as you like, but keep it within a realistic boundary as the largest I've done is an "O cup" breast (yes I'm knowledgeable on my cup sizes even though I'm a guy). any type is fine as well.

Hair: Uhhhh..I don't think it matters but I guess if there's a preference, Long hair?

Anthro: Anthro ocs are accepted, I have to leave out you scalies though...I apologize...



Now for the males

Ages: same as the females, I'll do any of the younger crowd (late teens to older thirties) youngtsers aren't allowed.

heights: eeeh, I'll try just about any size male I guess, it really doesn't matter to me

Size: I'm pretty lenient with this but no ultrabuffs please, i'm terrible when it comes to the muscle anatomy

Hair: Doesn't matter

Anthro: anthro ocs are accepted, same as the ladies though; no scalies I'm sorry


I'm basically looking for those characters that will...REALLY make me scream "Gotta draw" I'm begging, cause drawing is my life and I love doing it...I have too many art supplies to have it burn out on me.

I'm lying here in bed thinking about miscellaneous things right now..I'm kind of wondering whether what I want to happen down the road will or not. My guess is no but maybe I'll catch a stroke of luck. Its currently 4 AM and I can't sleep. I suppose it could be worse though

Lol I headed in for my shift and found out I didn't have work, its good in its own way lol

Rant.

So I am at work this morning and last night I decided it was a smart idea to crack the window seeing as its ridiculously hot throughout the house. This morning my dad decided it would be the right thing to do by doing the following: open bedroom door, yell as soon as he saw the window was open, quite literally tear down the blinds overexxagerate, slam window and promptly leave the room with a pott mouth.

Am I the only one who thinks that's just a dick move or do I have people who agree with me?

Some good news

Hey all, I'm at the job currently, but I wanted to post now for my requesters that I'll be able to finish up requests soon, keep in check.

Things To Come: March

Hey everyone, just wanted to say that February will be the last month I take Requests, Commissions and Trades. I'll be changing a number of things
A few things to look forward to:



Commissions 5.0 - The new version five commissions will include packages in which you can commission bulk quantities of pictures (2+) at discounted prices without having to wait for specials (though there will be specials on them as well.) Look forward to larger variations of options to choose from at your trusted low prices from yours truly.

Another benefit you can look forward too is multiple payment options. Like in some retailers, you are able to divide a total sum purchase among multiple payment methods, I will be offering this very same option when you make payment for a commission.

As I work through all the requests and commissions, I'll see to working on new things that I see other artists do. A few examples would be: Badges, ACEOs, stamps, animations and more.




Requests 4.2 - Requests are looking pretty static right now, I don't believe I'll find anything major to update quite yet to make it version 5.0 but the 4.2 will post new information regarding requests like remaining anonymous now and single site posting (this will not exclude my blogger however).
On another note, I may do away with flat color requests as well due to burning of markers. I'll just have to change my tactics to entice the interest for commissions.




General Information - Just general updates to look for further down the road, there will be a change in what I will and will not draw and certain notes regarding some themes/settings/species of anthro/etc. Expect a change in picture completion times as well. A bit later in March I will list all of the things that I will be doing art wise that I do now. This is regards to art, media used, central themes of art, art events and possibly more.

For now those are all the major updates that will go underway.  A few things will be beta for the time being to see how everything goes.

A notice to my requesters

I realize that I haven't been able to upload your requests and I am trying my best to get them finished, I seem to have undergone a chronic art block however and I'm having trouble with completing or starting someI ask that you please bare with me here as I try to recover from whatever has been keeping me from drawing for the last month or so. If you have any questions feel free to contact me however you like.

Seems I added a more ad based version of the app I wanted to get. this isn't much of an update. Maybe I'll stop receiving odd advertisements now.

February Commissions and Requests (Limited Offer)

That time of the year is coming and people are getting all kinds of flirty/lovey/pushy (if you know what I mean).

If you know what I'm talking about then you'll be glad to hear that I'm having special pricing on my commissions specifically for this month (and the rest of January of course). People who have that special someone on their mind and don't have a way to show it may come to me where they can have their respective sona's, fur or human (or scalie even if I don't draw them as well), drawn with their significant other free of charge of the additional OC. And on top of that if you'll also get 1/4 of the price taken out of the final product price.

And for those who don't have someone to share their love with, do not think I have forgotten about you. I will also be offering general commission options at half off! No matter what it is!

For those who are not 'in the funds' I also have something special for you as well. For a limited time (as in until January ends) I will allow TAME flat color requests to have two non-artist owned characters!

Finally found a moment.

It's about time I posted something that wasn't from my phone. Lately I found myself wanting to get more into roleplaying because the way I see it, I'm heading in one direction and that's being a sexual deviant not a bad one, I'm generally nice and I'm too easy going to confront someone with an erotic desire, I don't do that. Anything that happens in my house stays in my house. Anyway back on topic; I wanted to get back into roleplaying so therefore I also want to look into getting my story(stories) written as well. Hope to see another section to the web up soon! It'll host a list of all the characters I do have, I may post individual Biographies of each of them. and anything else I feel is necessary to make myself feel more part of my characters.

In other news, February's coming up. Gonna post some special pricing on adult commissions for those lover pairs out there.~ Gonna have a special form made that only people interested shall receive. This won't be limited to people who are dating of course, anyone interested in adult commissions are more than welcome to them. Coming up for March I may have a green fever especially with my birthday coming up. Wooh! 21 years. time to break out the kegs! Iunno. I'm not much of a drinker actually.

I would also like to state the coming of the Magical Girl Costume which will be offered as a Color commission for five USD (Eventually I'll figure out a way to work it into a usable outfit for males without making them look too...feminine). I think that's all I have for tonight to mention. It's getting late and I'm tired been playing Elite Beat Agents on the DS all afternoon pretty much and my arm hurts.
